Jimi Hendrix
JIMI HENDRIX (whole name James Marshall Hendrix)

alltimes. In 1965 he founded his own band Jimmy James and the Blue Flames,
but when Chas Chandler, the bassist of the Animals, invited Jimi
to London, was founded the most important band of Jimi's,
the Jimi Hendrix Experience. The first single of the band was called
Hey Joe and it bounded immediatly popular. It was followed by three other
hit-single, including one of the most famous songs Purple Haze.
Hendrix's appearances were always stunnig, but maybe the most famous is
the Monterey popfestivals from 1967. At first he light his guitar in fire
and then crushed it totally. That was an amazing trick, which made him a superstar.
